L’arte nell’Era del Web

(Italiano e English)

THE ART IN THE TIME OF THE WEB!

A social like Facebook is a huge space, as large as the whole world where each and everyone of us enters, has access, observes, does, listen to and says…….

This “virtual” space becomes “real” when many people talk and interact within it.

In this “virtual” space they can decide to work together and do things in the outside world.

But can also decide to do real things in this “virtual” space!

Actually they do it!

And here comes the question to be asked. How to be creative as an Artist in the Web era?

All is possible. You can show your artwork on the Web, created for the outside world. The Web can become a show window. And You can create pieces of art for the Web world. Actually it is already happening.

As far as it concerns me the use of digital design created on a tablet has revealed itself to be a process that perfectly fits the situation.

The digital design belongs to the Web’s world as well. It speaks the same language.

It can create or give birth to events, exhibitions, permanent galleries. It can exercise and produce attraction, call for attention, it can also trigger research and share.

Exactly like artwork has always accomplished in the world. In fact what probably characterizes working on the Internet is that it is free and this gives huge possibilities also to talented artists that don’t have financial resources to expose their artwork in galleries, rent prestigious premises or engage in expensive advertisement with specialized agencies trying to promote their art.

Therefore a new space of imagination and innovation.
